Two Duesers in the lands of Due South and Private Eyes

I started the day off with going to Romni Wools on Queenstreet. Sure they had a lot but the prices are similar to home so I never bought anything
The streetcar down Queen towards Sherbourne took forever, should have done King instead as I was heading for Patrician Grill to meet up with Jackie. Terry and his staff served good food as usual and he helped out taking a pic of us.

Jackie had some leftover fries so we headed back to her and Dennis' place and they certainly have a view! Although some of the lake's isn't showed anymore due to condos popping up.

Next stop: St Lawerence hall; Canadian Consulate in season two of Due South. As we could we went inside and up the stairs where we've seen Fraser run numerous times. We sat down on the other side of the street before going into St. James Cathedral. This isn't the chrch where Fraser jumped down from the balcony but what a beauty it is.

On Toronto St you find this gem. It's the Canadian Consulate in season 1(not the pilot though, that's the place beside the real American Consulate in TO on University Ave). The building is also featured as a bank in Chasing Rainbows.

This building have been passed/walked by in both Due South and Private Eyes.

Remember Fraser stopping for the red light when he was out riding in the morning in "They eat horse don't they" This is the stretch of street, the lights had been put up temporary back then. Plus around here is the buildings from "Red, White or Blue" are as well, those where Fraser semaphores Thatcher that "Red suits you".

Some features from Victoria's secret.

I just love this sculpture and I'm happy I was back to see it and take some more pics of it than I did four years ago.

So suitable in the floor with this compass, although we were due North to jump on the subway.

Always look up! This is at Queen station.

And the Church between Quuen and Richmond, this is the one Fraser comes out the door from after having jumped down from the balcony(Although I believe that part of the scene is filmed in the Church on Queen Street)

Look up! You see so many things then, well on street level too, isn't it nice how they've painted the benches in Leslieville.

And we're in Private Eyes land! Jackie said that since they stopped filming in August the sign probably wouldn't be there but oh yes it was! So both Jackie and I are on photos under it. Also there are photos of the "diner/grill" that Shade's dad works at and the house that is Shades in the show. We found it out in the Beaches on Balsam Ave.

Some random photos from our walk towards the house.

Here we are

And on the other side of the road, home for fairies.

Mmmm Coconut icecream.

And we're back on Due South land. The R. C. Harris Water Treatment Plant, which was used in the Duel(but from the other side) It's just by Lake Ontario, or as Fraser would have put it, the Lake they call Ontario.

On the bus back I snapped this photo, these condos are showed in the opening credit of Private Eyes

And heading back to Jackie's place again to see what stuff she wanted from my discs(got quite a lot of stuff LOL) This was by the firestation.

My minicupcakes from Cakes By Robert, just had to pop in here when we walked by

A BIG TYK(Thank You Kindly for those who don't know) to Jackie for this day! I think finding Shade's house was one of the best things happening. We had the best weather and therefore we took a selfie at the Water Plant.
