Duesers meeting 240906 and 240907
So of course there are more dueserdays. And they are just lovely. On the 6th me and Jackie met up and we walked a little of Tommy Thompson Park, took some photos of Lake Ontario. In the late evening we went to The Duke where Jackie and friends were singing karaoke.
So Saturday came along and we met in classic dueser location, the Patrician Grill. Love to see favourite places being busy but as we only ended up being three people we could stay a bit and talk and eat. Thank you kindly for great company Erica and Claire.
Erica had to go back home but me and Claire went on, destination Little Canada but that's another post, Claire showed me where her uncle had lived and she told me such great stories about his life during the day. I really enjoyed hearing about him.
I also was told what the cat in the dog fountain is looking at, I didn't know that from before... or if I have been told I've forgotten it.
We walked towards Dundas Square on Victoria Street and then you come by the backside of Massey Hall and Ed Mirvish Theatre(apparently used in Slings and Arrows)

A little bit of this and a little bit of that 240905
So originally I planned on going to Grimsby, maybe one day when I'm not going alone and can rent a car. I ended up spending the better part of the day with my great friend Kathleen-Sonja. We were in the Beaches/Kew/Woodbine area before we headed back downtown for the TIFF area.
CN Tower seen from far east and Lake Ontario looking innviting
Stone formations or maybe some of them are Inukshuks. I had to build two, one that I later bringing the stones back home to glue them up and one I left on a treetrunk with the ohters.
So I don't really like haaving my photo taken, but giant chairs does something with you. Also some colourful houses now that I didn't end up in Grimsby.
Mushrooms on a tree in different directions, funny signs and a pond.
The rest of my day you can look for at my Photoinsta: photos_by_tinadolphin and my faaaceebook.

Downtown, Yarn and Graffity Alley - 230913
Started the morning with returning the car to the renters, then I had the first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season and it was actually a Tim Horton's one, so many Starbucks locations have closed down in Toronto, suppose due to covid. We walked by the local firestation, but that was Ines's thing(and I haven't stolen any photos from her...)
Cabbagetown have been nicely decorated with chairs and street art.
Early afternoon we headed out, walked by AGO museum, George Brown House(filminglocation from Due South) and then my goal was Romni Wools, actually found some cool chennile yarn in a thinner size than I normally see. Ines and Regina patiently waited in the nextdoor Café; Sweet Pie.
When we were done we went towards Graffity Alley, I took lots of photos of course, but when I took the card out of the computer for a restart something happened. I could find all files again but all "free" programs I tried costed money for the actual recover so the photos showing up here are courtesy of Regina, Thank You Kindly!
We ended the day at Stout, celebrating the fact we are duesers and Mariellen's birthday. We did have something left of gifts we had brought to others in Stratford and then Ines did a "five minute work"(20 in real life) of Fraser and Ray as Calvin and Hobbs for birthdaycard.
Thank You Kindly to Sonja, Mariellen, Erica, Ines, Regina, Joanne and Paulina for making it such a lovely and memorable evening!
