A Two Day Story - 230909/10

So Saturday was a bit of a lazy day, we went down to the pub where every dueser who could come came, then as it was the Cabbagetown Festival we went to the Art and Crafts fair, as lovely as the last time I was there.
Sunday at midday we started out with a bit of Allan Gardens Conservatory, not so easy to get around as it's up for reconstructions. But some flowers I will share with you.
So as we headed towards the subway I took the gang inside Lowblaw's entrance to look at the big Maple leave made out of chairs from the old Maple Leafs Garden(it's the building holding the store among other things)
After lunch at the Urban Eatery in Eaton Center we walked past the old City Hall towards the new and the Toronto Sign.
A trip to Toronto isn't anything without a visit in the Michael's where they have all kinds of hobby stuff. No photos from that though, but now we made our way "due south" to the harbour, it was time to get out to Center Islands. We spent a lovely evening there, lots of photos as the skyline turned the lights on. CN tower was lit up in changing green and purple, but turned solid red a bit when we waited to go back.
