A Day Spent in Stratford 230907

This day was epic. We got out of Toronto well enough, actually happy about the GPS even told me "please move one lane to your left" when needed. At Stratford though the GPS took us downtown, but we came to the Forum about 10 minutes before it was set to start.
After the forum where Seana McKenna and Paul Gross spoke about playing King Lear we had picniclunch that Susan had helped us order. And now it was time to head down to the big theatre, well not so big in real life but the main stage. Susan's husband John took photos of us in the garden where we wore our read "Oh Dear, King Lear" t-shirts.
After the brilliant performance of King Lear(if you're in Stratford, Canada in the nearest time go see it) we had an "audience with the King" kindly arranged by Faye and Heather(at the theatre). In other words Paul Gross had agreed to meet us. He was nice, warm and generous with his time and truly moved by us all in our t-shirts and with our giftbasket for him.
We did managed to get another photo of us all outside the theatre where there were lots of beautifl flowers. Before we left Stratford we gathered on a small island in the river and had pizza for dinner. It was a long day but oh are we happy we did this!
TYK A.k, Dani, Ines, Regina, Faye, Susan and husband, Claire and daughter, Sonja, two more duesers f´from Chicago for soending the time together.
